Founder & Studio Owner; Power Yoga & Core Specialist
Kimberly Barrett
As founder and CEO of Good Vibes, I strive to cultivate a space 100% built to help you to discover your best self. I believe in yoga - in the power of breath, in positive thought and body awareness, and the unmistakable impact of letting go of what doesn't serve you. This studio is about empowering you to feel good in mind, body and spirit.
I bring 20+ years as a certified fitness professional. I am a 200-hour Aura Wellness Yoga instructor as well as an ACE certified medical exercise specialist, health coach, fitness nutrition specialist and fitness instructor.
Interestingly, yoga was not my first love. However, I have realized over time that nothing can replace the power of breath and mindfulness. Discovering this has been a game changer for my life - and am excited to share this discovery with you at Good Vibes. In my practice, you will be physically challenged, will sweat and be asked to find strength of body and mind- all while shutting out the outside world, bringing awareness to your breath and body. I believe that every body is unique- and perfectly imperfect. I will ask that you allow me to guide you - while you listen carefully to your body and adjust to your own needs. Yoga is not cookie cutter. It is yours.

I brought my Type A personality to experience the benefits yoga had to offer my body and stayed for the peace in my soul. I love the yin and yang of maintaining an energetic vinyasa practice paired with the serenity of restorative yoga. It is in this space of balance, I find inner peace and equilibrium within my own life. As I brave my own path, the practice of yoga allows me to claim my space in the universe, define my identity, and stay centered, grounded, and present.
When I began my yoga teacher training, I intended to pursue a path to self-improvement, deepen my own practice, and learn more about the metaphysics of yoga. I have had the unequaled pleasure of training with renowned teachers who have encouraged me, tested me, and led me to find my own voice as a teacher. I am a Certified 200-hour, 300-hour, Reiki I & II and Restorative yoga instructor, who has been teaching for the past 6 years in Lincoln.
My classes are intended to challenge my students so they may explore the infinite possibilities of the mind and body.

Vinyasa Flow Instructor & Mindfulness Specialist
Kendra Haifely
What brought me to yoga was the connection of breath to the body and soul. In all that I do, I focus on the breath; the way you can so easily come back to a sense of peace and calm by simply focusing on the inhale and exhale. I love to teach and practice vinyasa flow and guided meditation. Yoga to me is not about what the body does but using the practice to create the ability to walk through daily life better equipped to handle those things in life outside of your control. You can expect to smile and sweat in my classes and you will always walk out feeling better than when you walked in. I create a space where my students enjoy themselves, embrace their bodies, learn functional strength and breath work and build a greater sense of gratitude for themselves and what they have.
Restorative Yoga Instructor & Yoga for Cancer Specialist
Shelly
I would describe myself as a "very holistic and compassionate individual" from Omaha Nebraska. I recently graduated Clinical Herbalism from North Star Herbal Studies- which really means that I studied HOW herbs work, how our bodies respond to them and how to integrate them into every day living.
I spent 7 years working as a therapy tech in outpatient Occupational Therapy Rehab facilities and turned to yoga in 2015. I obtained my Restorative Yoga Certification from Bhadra in Omaha. In 2018, I obtained my Yoga4Cancer certification in Virginia Beach; then taught oncology-based yoga to cancer patients at Southeast Nebraska Cancer Center to those actively on treatment. My classes focus on reintegration of the mind-body connection, while actively relaxing.
